Trish Hakata built GoGetter Movement from a deeply personal conviction: that African women who are already doing extraordinary work deserve extraordinary rooms to do it in.

Her vision was never charity. It was always celebration — of what African women are capable of when given access, community, and the belief that they belong at every table.

Eight years later, that conviction has become a continent-wide movement touching 20,000 women across 13 countries.

Why We Exist

Born From A Simple, Urgent Truth.

Women in Africa are building extraordinary businesses — yet too many are forced to scale in isolation, without access to the networks, capital, and visibility they need.

The Problem We Saw

Brilliant African women entrepreneurs were sitting in rooms that weren't built for them — networking events where they didn't see themselves, funding stages where their stories weren't told, ecosystems that measured success in ways that excluded them.

GoGetter was built to change the architecture of those rooms, or build entirely new ones.

We believe in celebrating achievement, not offering charity. GoGetter connects women already building meaningful businesses to the resources, relationships, and opportunities that help them grow across borders and generations.
